Self-Reflection at Beginning of 2026 (Thank You Mike 🙏✨)

Well we made it. 2025 is now officially gone forever. How do you feel about 2026?

According to my estimations, there's just 60 years left until I'm done with this dimension. And while I am really excited to see what happens in the 'afterlife', I won't rush my departure from this current place (even though often times this place feels so silly).

I think the word for this year is: gratitude.

We often forget the power of gratitude. It can literally shift your entire mood instantly. And if you know me, you'll know that I am someone who likes to hook people up with amazing free things that I come across along my life journey. And yes, gratitude is totally FREE (that's probably why most people assume it's worthless).

Find something to give thanks for, and release your gratitude into the wind 😊 Actually, even if you express gratitude with just your thoughts... you will STILL get the beautiful benefits of it. Your gratitude has to be genuine though, of course. You CAN'T fake it! And believe me... I already tried.

If you can't find something to be thankful for, then my suggestion is to think of someone who has already passed away and send them your gratitude for something. If the George Anderson books are correct, then that person's spirit WILL receive your message and it will actually support them with their 'afterlife' journey.

That being said, I'll take this opportunity to say thank you to my bro Mike who passed away last May. Every time I find myself in Tan Binh district my heart sinks a little bit because I remember that time when we walked around the streets for several hours with my girlfriend and his group of friends. Thank you Mike for being my friend, and thank you for inviting me to your place to trip on a half dose of LSD two weeks before you passed away. Thank you for letting me stay at your place all day as I tried to process that trip (I watched all of existence get squished up into a green ball and then thrown against a black wall to be splattered like Nickelodeon slime, just to be newly gathered up into a green ball and get thrown all over again [this happened for like 20 minutes]). Mike was rich financially, yet the best thing he ever gave me was his friendship.
