Breaking Habits
Affirmations aren’t just cheesy words—they’re tools to rewire the mind.
One that’s helped me start the process of breaking unhealthy habits is:
“Thank you God for removing my shackles.” (I say this affirmation either in my head or out loud, with my hands together with fingers interlocked in a genuine thankful prayer position)
When I say it, I stop reaching for escapes.
I feel myself return.
And for a moment… I remember I’m already free.
