I asked ChatGPT to provide powerful questions to realize God

The following 15 questions were generated by ChatGPT. I was honestly surprised at the first 5 questions it produced. I will attempt to answer each question with this same standard font.

Self-Inquiry & Direct Experience

  1. Who or what is aware of my thoughts right now?
I don't know exactly what, but it is something that is there ALL of the time even when I'm dreaming. I want to say my consciousness... but there is also something aware of the consciousness.

If I remove all beliefs and conditioning, what remains?
Just straight up consciousness.

Can I find the boundary between myself and the Divine?
I don't think so. It would be like trying to find the boundary between my bluetooth headphones and the electricity that powers the cell phone that the bluetooth headphones are connected to. Are living organisms like animated wireless extensions of God?

Maybe it would be more like trying to find the boundary between a fish and the ocean in which it swims. Is it even possible?

Where is God not?
That sounds like being in the ocean and asking "where is water not?"

Am I seeking God as an object, or is God the very awareness in which seeking happens?
My gut says that God is the very awareness in which seeking is happening. But these are just words that I am writing, there is still something blocking my experience of this as a feeling.

Illusions & Perception

  1. If God is infinite, how can I be separate from God?
Right, it would be impossible. How could one exist in infinity and be separate from it?

Do I believe in a God outside of me, or is God my very essence?
I don't believe in any concepts of God. God might just be our consciousness itself. If that is true, then we are all experiencing God literally right now.

What happens when I stop looking for God and just rest in being?
Then I would just rest in God... and it feels safe as I'm writing this sentence.
(writing this sent a shiver down the back of my neck)

Who am I before I define myself?
Just straight up consciousness.

Is my idea of God limiting my experience of God?
YES. Every idea of what infinity is, is always too small.

Love & Oneness

  1. If God is unconditional love, can anything truly be separate from that love?
If it's unconditional then it accepts everything and everyone.

What would it feel like to surrender completely to God in this moment?
It feels safe. It feels like relief.

If I look into the eyes of another, can I see God there?
Yes. Like when I make eye contact with a baby or with an animal. When I make eye contact with an adult I sense something fearful in there, but even behind that fear there must be God right?

Is my sense of "I" different from the "I" that God is?
(I'm very surprised that ChatGPT would bring this up, it's one of my favorite topics of all time. Who is "I"? What is identity?)

My identity of "Nick" is just a concept, it's just a label. It's not something solid. It's an ever-changing work of art. God's "I' feels like the artist, the canvas and the creation all in one.
  1. Can God ever be absent, or is It the very substance of existence itself?
Can water ever be absent in the ocean? It feels like God can never be absent because we are swimming in it right now.

These questions aren’t meant to be answered intellectually but to guide you into direct experience and realization. Which ones resonate most with you? (this little final part was also written by ChatGPT).
