Comebacks exist because of defeats
As I watch more tennis and play more pickleball I am able to observe the nature of comebacks.
I remember Roger Federer saying that while he won about 80% of his matches, he only scored 54% of the points possible.
The tennis mentality seems to be that the tables can turn in your favor at any moment.
This is a good reminder for myself to not get stuck in a funk for too long.
My brain has wanted to stay in a victim mode and to stop trying to take action.
Maybe life is a game of tennis, and after getting burned we have to pick ourselves up and get back on the court.
