Infinite Games
Are you currently playing any games that don't have a finish line?
Simon Sinek (author of the book: The Infinite Game) would say that examples of infinite games are: business, politics and marriage.
There is no 'finish line' and therefore no 'winners', the whole point of an infinite game is to keep it going as long as possible.
On the other hand, there is the option to play finite games. One where there are clear winner and losers, and the players often seek quick short-term victories.
Which game do you prefer to play?
