3 Benefits of Journaling
If you know me, then you'll know that I love to connect people with amazing FREE ways to support their mental health. What comes to mind today is: JOURNALING. I honestly used to think that it was BS but this week I've become convinced that it works, and this is why.
1) Writing down your current thoughts and feelings produces a sensation of being SEEN, and this relaxes the nervous system
2) It's easy to do, you can literally use scrap paper or write it on a blog like this one (and yes this blogging platform is FREE to use)
3) When you write things down it feels like dropping weight from your shoulders, which makes it easier to breathe
*Bonus* If you decide to share your writing, it can significantly help a reader's life if they are going through a similar challenge
