Northern Virginia in 2025

This place is a bubble. We watch riots on TV, but we've never seen one up close.

This is a place with abundant comfort, but something still feels missing in this cookie cutter world.

Living here for too long can turn you into an NPC. Wake up, work, eat, shit, sleep, repeat. Over and over until your time is up. This could actually be a nice life if your work is something that feels meaningful to you. If your work is not meaningful to you, then you will consume something to distract you from the feeling of meaninglessness.

I don't think this applies only to Northern Virginia, I'm realizing it as I write this now.
