Healing
It might be more simple than we thought.
But possibly hard to find.
When someone can recognize that you are in pain, and they make it clear to you that they support your well being, this is triggering your healing process. This tells your subconscious that you DESERVE to heal and you DESERVE to be loved.
Now what about trying it with yourself?
Can you look in the mirror, make eye contact with your reflection, and tell him/her "I know you've felt pain, and I'm here for you no matter what."
