How to Become a 'Magnet'?
This is a skill that I'm learning at the moment and my goal is to coach people in the future how to do this as well.
Have you ever desired something so much, had it within your reach, but you knew that if you chased it that it would remain out of your reach? What would you do in this situation? Especially when you noticed that the less you chase it, the more it begins to move towards you? So then... how to stop yourself from chasing it? Think it about this, if you stop chasing with the intention of attracting the thing, IT STILL COUNTS AS CHASING AND THEREFORE IT DOESN'T WORK. And also ouch, this method is painful. What's a more efficient way of going about this?
How about learning to be happy already BEFORE your desired 'thing' arrives?
How can this happen? How is it possible? I thought the purpose of trying to attract something was to finally be happy?
WHAT IF THAT IS A TRAP?
What if you already have everything you need to be happy RIGHT NOW?
'But how do you know dude?'
Have you tried? Have you tried decreasing your consumption of short term pleasure and watched how your baseline happiness increases after some time?
When your baseline happiness level increases, everything around you begins to feel your new vibe. It begins to attract situations, people and things in general that genuinely match with your new vibe. You are no longer operating from wounds and voids. Your new default mode begins to have more and more gratitude for small things like: the breeze, the sound of a sneeze, seeing random people smiling, funny restaurant names like 'Banh Bao 69', and more!
I invite you to try it.
They say that happiness is in the present. Ok then let's find out. It's possible that happiness is already here but we've accidentally missed it because we've been searching for it. It might be possible to feel happiness just by sitting on the floor and having a hot cup of tea.
Now imagine how you would live the rest of your life if you were happy already. Who would you share that happiness with?
Think about it.
Much love!
